July 27th 2008... Registration for American Idol auditions begins in Salt Lake City Utah! I am so there! As some of you already know, this will be my second year auditioning for A.I. I didn't make it last year but I was close. There are three rounds of auditions; the first is in front of two judges, contestants stand in a row of four, four deep. There are 12-13 canopies that have 16 people at each. The first person is asked to step forward and sing approx. 30 seconds of a song, they then step back and preoceed to the next person. After that row has finishes they point to some or no people and say sorry to the rest. A rare few times they would ask someone to sing another song. I was one of these people, I was asked to sing a total of three songs. Unfortunately i did not proceed to the next judging round. the next judging would have been for the producers singing a cold read. After the producers then it is randy paula and simon.
I have high hopes for this year having experience the process. Whatever the out come I will come out on top. Wish me luck! Yay Salt Lake City!

Independence day...
Fourth of July... wow, what a day. From 10:00 in the morning til 12:00 midnight we had a non-stop party. Our day began small with a group of four; Ashley and T.J. Adams, Bryan and Myself. We went to the parade following which we began out barbeque adventure. We went to FIVE diferent barbeques across Davis county (mostly all in layton with exception of one in west point). It seemed with every event we attended we aquired more people to our entourage. Skyler Heslop, Logan Hunt, Aaron Hunt and Brandon Varney, Jessica Grant, and Mike Parkinson were all with us by the end of the night. We played DDR after fireworks and watched 'Jeff Dunham-sparks of insanity'. It was a truly exhausting fun day.
