D-Day

Yesterday I did it, I filed My divorce decree. As soon as the judge signs the decree, I will be divorced. This is where I am right now.

a new day

A new day has come. A time where I am no longer defined by another person. I am coming out of the shell created over the last 5 years. Who and what kind of creature will I be as I emerge? Only time will tell, only life will lead, but one thing is for sure; I stopped the shell from encompassing my whole self and now I am picking up the shatters, the shaky pieces of reality left behind. I am nervous to take this path, this winding, clouded road of my life where nothing is certain except one thing; I will be defined by Me.
